Our Lord Jesus spoke of Himself in many ways as indicated in the header above. He was the the living bread which came down from heaven and if any man would eat of this bread, he shall live forever, (John 6:51); He also said, if any man thirst let him come unto Me and drink, (John 7:37); The direction He would go was planned by His Father... He came down from heaven, not to do His own will, but the will of His father that sent Him, (John 6:38; Because men love darkness rather than light, He came down as the light of the world, and he that followeth Him shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life, (John 8:12).

We have used the compass to illustrate our pointing the reader in the direction of God's ways. We hope that you will take the time to read the information contained within it.

Bethany Christian Fellowship of Indianapolis, Indiana offers a blend of rich Christian fellowship and worship according to the pattern found in the New Testament, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The Lord Jesus Himself first spoke of the church when He declared that He was the builder and would establish it on a sure foundation, (Matt 16:18). He also first spoke concerning the local gatherings of believers, (Matt 18:20).

No denominational name is accepted as such seems inconsistent with New Testament teaching; that all Children of God are members of the body of Christ, the Church; and are spoken of only as Believers, which belong to and are descriptive of all Christians. Thus, a basis is formed for a scriptural fellowship where true believers can enjoy all their spiritual privileges and assume their responsibilities, (Acts 2:41, 42).

Over 2,000 years have passed since the Lord Jesus Christ, after His resurrection, commanded His disciples to preach the Gospel "in all the world to every creature." In the 21st century, we consider it a privilege to be proclaiming that same glorious message that offers life and peace to guilty sinners. We--"declare onto you the Gospel ...how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures," (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

Bethany Christian Fellowship is committed to share with others the love of God's only begotton Son, both in our community and also in the world by way of known missionaries.
